Let’s be honest, time management isn’t a cup of tea for everybody. Many individuals make it so easy that any job will be done on time. There are other classes of individuals who take time to plan the list of things to be accomplished. Well, we have a solution for all of us. That’s the secret we will spill it out today.
One keyword to achieve one’s goal and have high productivity is “Time Management”. The value of time management plays an important role in any individual’s life. Everyone has the same length of time, 24 hours a day in whole daytime is important from student to company’s managing director, but the effective use of time is what makes a difference. Every job or task takes some time in one’s life and everything needs time to materialize. With time management, each assignment is given ample time to be completed. By offering a sliver of time for each of our goals and paying for it wisely, one will be able to accomplish them and manage time for other tasks.
We will be able to finish more jobs with less effort with the help of efficient time management. If you reserve some time for each operation, we don’t have to think about the next thing you’re going to do. You become more organized with time management and the activities you do become more habitual than panic-driven. You will improve your productivity by making it a habit. Managing time will encourage you to do more things in your life. You will find that you can get much more done once you have created a list of tasks and prioritized them. THE POMODORO TECHNIQUE

Have you ever heard of Francesco Cirillo Pomodoro Technique? Some call it a “Tomato Timer”. It’s a method developed by Cirillo where He used a kitchen timer in the shape of a tomato (“Pomodoro” in Italian), forced himself to study for exactly 25 minutes, then took a break of 5 minutes. And it worked! The Pomodoro Technique is a method of time management that allows individuals to work for, rather than against, the time they have. You split your workday into 25-minute chunks separated by five-minute breaks using this process. Such intervals are known as Pomodoro. You take a longer break of about 15 to 20 minutes after only four Pomodoros. That makes the technique so attractive. To keep track of your Pomodoros and concentrate single-mindedly on a mission, you just need a timer and a notebook. Isn’t that easy?
What else do we need?
There are 5 basic steps to get started:
- Choose a task to be accomplished.
- Set the Pomodoro to 25 minutes (the Pomodoro is the timer)
- Work on the task until the Pomodoro rings, then put a check on your sheet of paper
- Take a short break (5 minutes is OK)
- Every 4 Pomodoros take a longer break
The “long break” usually takes 15-30 minutes, but it can stretch to a 25-minute work session, just to make you feel recharged and ready. Over the course of a working day, replicate the process a few times and you actually get a lot of work done and also have taken plenty of breaks for other activities, to grab a cup of coffee or refill your water bottle in the process. This technique can be especially helpful if you have a hard time getting started on a project, have to do something you don’t really want to do or are trying to break down a big project into manageable pieces that will help you see a direct way to complete it. “By telling yourself, “I just have to give this 25 minutes, I can handle that,” you can play a little psychological trick on your brain. Better still, before the time limit is up, you can race yourself to see how much of the project you can get finished. Maybe you’ll surprise yourself and finish quicker than you expected!
